Facility Branding
Orange Lutheran High School, a private school in Orange, California, wanted to turn their building into a series of designs that highlights school spirit and the various sports they participate in. The goal was to excite, motivate, and promote school spirit for every student that walks through these halls. I worked closely with the Athletic Director and Director of Marketing to complete the branding of their facility.
Spirit Wall
Orange Lutheran High School is known for their vibrant campus culture and energetic atmosphere. It was only right to embrace that spirit by designing a mural showcasing the student life here at OLU.

Installation
The spirit wall was an intricate installation. If you take a close look, these walls have indentation seams and had to be taken into consideration prior to printing. I’d made sure to include a few inches of bleed (on each side) when printing the panels to account for the loss of height when they tuck the vinyl into the seams. Strips of the same artwork were also provided to cover those deep indentations to avoid any lifting of the vinyl. See them in action and how they work steadily to get it right.
Athletic Wall
OLU is also known for their athletic excellence, with nearly 65% of their student body actively engaged. OLU wanted to inspire, motivate and give the recognition to the 25 athletic programs they have.
300 images had to be narrowed down to just 1 for each sport. Image resolution, compelling composition and display of emotion all played a factor in selecting which images made the cut. The goal I had in place was to create an aggressive but aesthetic look with the players in action.

OLU Hockey
Head coach of OLU’s hockey team saw what we did for their football program and was ready to revamp their training facility.
Our client wanted to make sure we represented both the current roster and the roster that won multiple state championships.

The design theme was carried over to their locker room as well.
